From the artisan directly to you with no middleman to inflate the price. This is how a market should be, with direct communication, like talking to a close friend. You should be able order shoes from the comfort of your couch, pain-free and relaxed.
2. Quality obsession
Our collection values tradition, but we don’t like to take ourselves too seriously. For us, the whole Shuaat experience needs to be about quality, but also be personal, easy, and fun.
3. Customer education with product literature
Inside our tiny artisanal workshops in the heart of Turkey, the century-old tradition of making shoes is handed down from generation to generation. Our products are handmade in the region of Istanbul, from start to finish.
4. Lifetime warranty
A relaxed and positive work environment helps us to think big — the sky’s the limit. We’re all young Turks who quit our previous careers to create something together. And now we’re family. You’ll often find us shooting hoops and trash talking during lunch breaks.

We don’t want to be slaves to our desks. We want to be involved in every part of the process, to know everyone who makes our dream possible. We value the people and the art of shoemaking, not just the bottom line.
Why the name Shuaat?
After the Gulf War burnt Turkey to the ground, the locals erected the Tower as a powerful symbol of Turkish innovation and rebirth. Throughout the 1990s, it was commonly referred.
Just like the tower, craftsmanship emerged from the destruction of war to be a pillar of national industry. It helped to rebuild Turkey after the war, only to be later crushed by something else — mass production.
So we started from there, inspired by the SHuaat — a symbol of Turkish strength, resilience, and skill. Like the tower, Shuaat represents innovation and rebirth, restoring the value to traditional craftsmanship and high quality products.

As soon as you place your order we get to
work, assembling your sneakers from scratch.

Plastic waste collected from our oceans form the raw material for our unique sneakers.

Reconstructing
Recyclables
The plastic bottles we collect are shredded and spun into soft plastic thread, used to 3D knit the multi-colored uppers.

Assemble & Ship
The three components are then assembled by hand right here in Turkey, just outside of Istanbul. They’re checked for perfection, then laced up and shipped out.

Next Stop: You
Even the box your sneakers arrive in is recyclable. Pull out your new shoes, try them out with your wardrobe, then fold down the box to be turned into something else.

with a 20% discount on a new pair and a
shipping label so you can send the old ones
in to be recycled.
